Disaster Recovery

Disaster Recover

Active Deployment Systems (ADS) is always ready for any situation. We have provided portable restroom trailers, laundry trailers, shower trailers and other systems for hurricanes, forest fire, extreme weather events and other unexpected disasters. Our phone number is forwarded each night to a senior manager to enable 24 hour response. Our fleet of trailers are designed and staged for rapid deployment on short notice. Our shower, restroom and laundry systems are capable of complete self-contained operation. We have the capability to provide power, water and grey water support for these systems when infrastructure has been deteriated. ADS have mobile housing facilities for our employees so they may be housed on site to maintain the showers, restroom trailers or any other system under operation.

With the ADS development of the super toilet systems, we have some of the largest mobile land based restroom trailers in the world. Using these systems, we can deploy more restroom service ability, in a shorter period of time, than most conventional portable toilet deployments.  In addition, given the design of the systems, our super toilet systems can run considerably longer than regular portable toilets before needing service. These unique systems may also be linked together to provide an extremely high number of restroom sites with an extremely short deployment window.

Super ToiletBeyond Disaster… Portable toilet evolution
The ownership and executive management of Active Deployment Systems supported the portable toilet industry for over 2 decades. We delivered and serviced thousands of portable toilets in over 7 States. While many consider portable toilets to be, well, less than desirable; we have a long standing love of the crude little 4X4 boxes.  However, as with any industry, things evolve and this certainly applies to portable toilets.   When ADS was created, one of the missions, besides portable showers and laundry trailers, was to provide an alternative to the portable toilet for the general public. In this industry there are either (a) portable toilets or (b) premium or small restroom trailers and unfortunately until the ADS super toilet system, there weren’t many options in-between… but we have changed this. ADS developed what we call the “super toilet” system. This super restroom trailer provides customers an alternative to a large number of portable toilets for servicing large numbers of people. One of our single unit super toilet systems can provide service to 40 customers at one time. With the design of accessibility to the individual restroom stations, and our unique pumping system, we believe our super toilets can service crowds at a ratio of 3 to 1 over portable toilets; simply said, one super toilet systems can replace 120 portable toilets. The condensed foot-print of our super toilets, (53 feet by 8 feet) provide greater crowd service density with less required space. In addition, customer usage of our super toilet does not have to be interrupted to perform service, unlike that of portable toilets. There are too many other unique qualities of our revolutionary super toilets to post to our web site, but we are only too happy to discuss them with our customers.

Solar PoweredBeyond Disasters… Solar Power
ADS was one of the first companies to develop and use solar power on a regular basis to run shower and hand wash trailers. Using sunlight and low voltage systems, these trailers are some of the most efficient and safest in our industry. The lack of dependency on generators permits these shower and hand wash trailers to operate in remote places with limited support. We believe that our responsibility to the environment is to continue to push technology and reduce demands on consumable resources.
